Product Technician

Axial currently has a tremendous opportunity for a Product Technician to join our growing office in Mission Viejo, California. We foster a fun, entrepreneurial work environment designed to empower our people by providing them with tools and support that build both their individual success and the success of our business.

Responsibilities:
• Ensure products meet quality standards and performance expectations
• Perform quality testing and report on test data
• Collaborate with designers to recognize and resolve potential issues with products and provide improvement suggestions
• Design and develop test fixtures and equipment

Qualifications:
• 3+ years of experience with R/C vehicles
• Associates degree in Engineering Technology or related field
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, knowledge of SolidWorks and Adobe Illustrator a plus
• Exceptional organizational, analytical, and time management skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude desired

Production Control Engineer

Axial currently has an exciting opening for a Production Control Engineer to join our growing office in Mission Viejo, California. We foster a fun, entrepreneurial work environment designed to empower our people by providing them with tools and support that build both their individual success and the success of our business.

Responsibilities:
• Develop systems to maintain consistency among quality control, engineering change tracking, and supplier management
• Collaborate with product designers to ensure accuracy throughout the design and manufacturing process
• Develop test programs to include standardized testing and reporting methods
• Analyze current supplier base and strategize on possible expansion opportunities

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• 7-10 years professional design experience, SolidWorks experience preferred
• 5+ years R/C vehicle experience
• Familiarity with PFMEA studies and risk assessment efforts
• Excellent technical, detail orientated, and project management skills
